Track Name: MardiGras VooDoo
MardiGras is like a Voodoo spell
Powerful magic inside your head
Conjured up to stir your soul
you can always leave but never go

MardiGras, Masquerade as you please
Be who or what in your mind you see
That fantasy who you wish you could be
Or Time travel back to where and when

A three hundred year old city of dreams
Voodoo and Magic claim a seductive hold
It’s extremely hard to explain the feeling
Of standing in the middle of that much madness

Fantastic fun days down in New Orleans
Sashay along side devoted Costumed revelers
In a rebellious time lapsed celebration
Indulging an alcohol induced state of mind

Walk the streets where, Laffite’s pirates once lurked
Feel that carnival spirit as it assumes control
Eerie sounds of Bourbon St screaming your name
On that once lazy river now the Fierce Mississippi

MardiGras, Masquerade as you please
Be who or whatever in your mind you see
That fantasy of who you wish you could be
Or Time travel to where you wish to be

Most people that were born there never leave
And those that do feel their always drawn back
To visit those faint memories of their distant past
On those ghostly streets in that crowd of Strangeness

Fantastic fun day down in New Orleans
Sashay along side devoted Costumed revelers
In a rebellious time lapsed celebration
Indulging an alcohol induced state of mine

Another mystical MardiGras season arrives
Devised by the stress and strife of life
Carried out in that New Orleans tradition
Seen nowhere else on the face of this earth

MardiGras, Masquerade as you please
Be who or whatever in your mind you see
That fantasy who you wish you could be
Or travel in search of your true reality
